A former deputy jailer at the LaRue County Jail in Hodgenville was arrested Tuesday afternoon, September 4th, and charged with rape and sodomy. According to Kentucky State Police working out of the Elizabethtown post, 42 year old Jerome Perry of Vine Grove was arrested after an investigation into information received from a female inmate at the LaRue County Jail on August 27th about possible inappropriate contact between Perry and other female inmates at the jail. It’s being alleged that Perry engaged in sex acts with atleast three female inmates while he was deputy jailer at the LaRue County Jail. He was employed at the jail for nine months and was fired August 20th, 2018, after missing a work shift and being arrested for D-U-I. Perry was lodged in the Hardin County Jail.
