Campbellsville Open 

The Campbellsville Open tennis tournament will be held July 3rd, 4th and 5th in Campbellsville at the Miller Park tennis courts. The tournament is being held to raise money for the repair work to the tennis courts. ALL PROCEEDS go to the Miller Park tennis courts. This tournament is being run by the Taylor County Tennis Association.

The Campbellsville-Taylor County Fourth of July Celebration will be awarding $850 in prize money at the AutoSmart Float Contest during the Annual Taylor County Bank Parade July 4 in Downtown Campbellsville. First prize will be $500, second $250, and third $100. All local school groups, churches, civic groups, or youth organizations are encouraged to enter a float in the competition. Floats should be patriotic and reflect this year’s theme “Honoring Those Who Fight for Our Freedom.” All floats should report to the Old Fruit of the Loom Parking Lot off the Broadway Ave. entrance by 9 a.m. Saturday, July 4th.
